A smart media bank for e-commerce
Why file-sharing tools are not enough for business
Designers spend up to 30% of their working time searching for "that exact PNG logo" or converting files on request from colleagues. "Can you make this image square?" and another 30 minutes disappear into routine work instead of creative tasks.
An old packaging image accidentally ended up on the website because the manager picked the wrong file from a cloud folder. Customers write, "I ordered one thing and got another." And you do not even understand how it happened.
The same images are stored locally by every employee: on a marketer's desktop, in a content manager's Downloads folder, and in an SMM specialist's Telegram. The result: 50 GB of identical files and constant confusion over which version is current.
Every time you need to send images to dealers, you upload large archives to WeTransfer or Yandex Disk again. Links expire in a week, downloads take 10 minutes, and partners get frustrated.
Key capabilities
No need to keep 10 versions of one image and resize each one manually for every channel.
- 1000x1000px JPEG for marketplaces
- 200x200px preview for the admin panel
- 1920x600px banner for email campaigns
- Compressed WEBP for a mobile app
Search works not only by file name, which often looks like IMG_3847.jpg, but also by content.
- Product SKU
- Color, category, collection
- Tags such as lifestyle, white background, model in frame
- Upload date or file author
Forget about sending large archives by email or through WeTransfer.
- Link expiration time: 7 days, one month, or no expiration
- Permissions: view only or download
- Watermarks for leak protection
Version control: the system stores the full change history of each file. Accidentally replaced an image? Roll back to the previous version in five seconds. See who made each change and when.
- Freelancers see only their own task folders
- Partners see only approved final images, without drafts or originals
- Managers control who can delete or edit files
The perfect pair: PIM + DAM
How they work together:
Images from DAM are automatically linked to the product card in PIM by SKU. Upload an image for SKU "NB-2847" in DAM and it immediately appears in the product card.
Update an image in the system, for example after a packaging change, and it is instantly updated on your website, marketplaces, and mobile app through PIM. Upload once and everything stays current everywhere.
Files are stored centrally. If someone deletes a local copy from their computer, nothing breaks on the storefronts.
JPG, PNG, TIFF, WEBP, RAW (Canon/Nikon), PSD, AI, SVG
MP4, MOV, AVI with streaming playback directly in the browser
PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPT
HTML5 archives (360° product views), GLB/GLTF (3D models)
